I am sorry , but do these really have a demand??? I just don't get how these are popular other than straight nostalgia??

I'm going to say there is, at least a minor, demand for this type of stuff. Companies like Diamond Select Toys, ZICA and Bif Bang Pow (among others) are also releasing figures in the Mego style. There's got to be people buying these things to justify the cost in making them.

The market may not be as big as 3.75" collectors, but that doesn't mean there aren't fans and collectors of a property or style of figure.

People like what they like. More power to them. I know I have some strange damn toy likes in my collection :-) In fact, I have some strange likes in just about everything.

I think there is a demand for the 60s Batman stuff, BUT, I am surprised by the sheer amount of overlapping stuff coming out. Everyone with a Batman license and more grabbed the 60s Batman license and is doing their thing in 60s style. Way too much IMO. We shall see I guess.

I love MEGO style figures. Not sure I'll get the re-release of these guys. But the new Batman 66 stuff and all the new figures they are going to make will be awesome. There is quite a large following for 8" these days. Cool thing is these guys are around $15-20 new. Not bad considering the price of 4" and 6" today.
