I posted pics a couple days ago in the "Passed Up" thread of the Retro Re issues.

Sweet.

I love this line, so much nostalgia. I'm not sure if I'll get the tiny turtles or not, but I will be on the look out for Spiderbytes and the mousers. And I've especially loved the vehicles so I'll keep on buying all of those.

I just wish Playmate would take a few more risks. A deluxe line would be nice, giving us show/scale accurate versions of Leatherhead, Snakeweed and Baxter Stockman's armor. They could even treat the armor like a vehicle - include an unarticulated Baxter figure to cut costs a little, and make the inside compartment big enough to house any of the turtles for kids to play around with.

so exactly where have these been spotted since it says now at retail? my son keeps asking about the rat king and the cockrouch. (that no scalper has left alone)...
now I have to find these as well...

Try your local K-Marts if you've got any. I just picked up Terminator and the Rat King at Cromwell's K-Mart. I went through all the TMNT figs though and it looks like they were the last ones. Just so you don't have to waste gas if you happened to be able to make the trip there.

Sorry though, now I feel kinda bad....:o

don't feel bad. Cromwell is way to far for me. my local one hasn't gotten any in since I checked Thursday. although there are 2 about 10 to 20 minutes away so maybe during the weekend i'll get lucky...

So are those going to be $8.88 a pieces the turtles in training?

I missed out on the toddler turtles back when so I hope I find these.

It seems like it, they're in the standard packaging so I doubt there will be any special price for them.

Personally they'd be a definite buy for me if all four came in one pack like the mouser bundle. I'm on the fence at 2 for $9, though if they pop up in some kind of flashback in season 2 of the show then that might be enough to sway me to buy 'em.

Haha I wonder what the odds are of Playmate making new versions of the old transforming turtles? The ones you could switch into pre-ooze turtle forms. I don't know why but I loved those when I was kid, along with my backflipping Leonardo.

I've seen both, the Cockroach guy at Target, and I think Rat King at TRU or Target and/or Walmart.

Wouldn't be surprised if the originals were reissued or if Playmates made all new ones.

I think they have managed to stick some type of transforming turtle into every line, I never liked them but for some reason the gimmigck is neat.

I just found Rat King and the Cockroach at TRU on Thursday. Had to get both. They are great. The Spyder looks really cool too.

Hopefully the Shredder 2.0 and Newtralizer figures get spotted soon. They were originally listed as a part of this wave of Nick figures. Then again, this wave wasn't slated for retail till October...

It's good to see the reissues are showing up at more places. Hopefully I'll see them at least once while they're still available. Not sure if I'll get all of them, but I'd at least like to get a Raph. I'm also hoping that they're able to at least get the second wave of them released, if not more after that. I'd at least like to get the Krang reissue they mentioned at SDCC.

I need to pick up a Krang myself. And Splinter. And Rat King. And some Mousers. And Stockman.

I've been trying to hold off on getting Shredder until the new one comes out but I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to last.

I remember the original Anniversary reissues a while back...unfortunately the stores stopped ordering them before I could snag a Casey Jones, Slash, and Shredder.

Hey, I just made my weekly stop by Toys R Us to see what was what and remembered reading this. I saw and bought both of these in case you needed them. Let me know if you do, otherwise I will take them back.

thanks man but I just went to walmart and they had just put up a case of them. now I know why they are so hard to find. 1 of each per case + scalpers = htf...

Are the ninjas in training, the mousers and pider out now???
I thought they weren't due out till oct??
