McFarlane Assassin's Creed Toys Out Now

McFarlane Toys Assassin's Creed Figures Sighted - The Toyark - News

I already know the 1st question is "how do these compare to NECA?". YMMV.....the hidden blades do not retract, instead the blades are separate pieces that plug onto(not into) the wrists via 2 pegs. So yes that means the forearms have 2 exposed holes facing inwards. Sculpts looked great as did paint work, however NECA did a better job hiding joints. The good thing is, the wrists and elbows have detents so they will function like ratchet joints(McFarlane used these on their Halo figures too). As far as these being 6"....McFarlane labeled their Halo figures as 6" but they were more liek 5.5". These did *seem* taller but I'm not certain. However a Marvel Legends figure like Captain America or a Star Wars Black Series figure like Luke look bigger all around.

I ordered mine from Amazon for about $14 each, just got them today in the mail. I recall from when McFarlane showed AC off at NY Toy Fair there was an image of Altair, Ezio, Connor, Aveline, and Nikolai. Maybe we'll get like an AC legacy pack or something down the road?

Actually, since Spartans are generally 7 feet tall, and McFarlane made them 5.5 inches tall, that means a 6-foot-tall man in that scale would be 4.7 inches; so that's the scale, 4.7 inches.

I knew this would be substandard figures compared to NECA. shame.
