I don't understand, why is the CSA the only ones getting the new articulation?

I think they are the first team they did since the articulation change was decided. Not sure if they are going to continue other "regular" New 52 stuff in same limited articulation style or switch it over to this new articulation style.

On the other hand, the Arkham Origins figures are going to have articulation too:

Are you sure? Firefly does not look like he has any bicep rotation, ab crunch, or leg hinges.

Those are still prototypes of Anarky and Firefly, they're both missing some articulation at this point.

I highly doubt Anarky will have swivel shoulders and no elbow bend.

Honestly, I hate Mattel for it's ab crunches and forced thigh swivels, I hope DCC doesn't do it on every figure and only does it on ones where it will work in with the design.

While at the DCC event during SDCC, I spoke to one of the designers about the articulation, and he said that whenever possible, he tries to "hide" the articulation cuts. Knee pads, armor, etc. You can see it in some of the Arrow TV show figures, Deathstroke a bit, etc. But some outfits just don't give them that ability (See Superman :)).

So, at least we know one guy is trying not to force the articulation in.

And I am the opposite. If I don't have an ab crunch of some type, the figure is crap.
