Waste of time. I would have rather someone been at the DC Collectibles panel going on at the same time. Mattel is dead to me after the damned 4 inch keaton Batman fiasco.

Umm....why are my eyes yellow all of a sudden?

Ravenxl7 10-11-2013 09:52 AM

Anyone else kinda surprised to see no mention of the multiverse line? Seems odd they wouldn't have included it in the panel. It's nice to see the "fan choice" Batman Beyond figure mentioned, even without any kind of picture. Was there any mention of how he will be released? Is he going to be a mass retail figure?

I kinda want the Batzarro and Black Manta figures, but also don't want to have to deal with MattyCollector...

Edit: With the new display pics comes confirmation that the Batman Beyond figure will be a MattyCollector exclusive...

So, even though I don't see any photos, Hook-Hand Aquaman is one of the quarterly figures, right?

Because as long as I can get him and Conner, I'll breathe a sigh of relief. Could care less about Damian or Ice. (Hell, I'm trying to unload my Fire). Or Doomsday for that matter, SDCC or not.

kaiju Geek 10-11-2013 10:23 AM

So... are the Unlimited lines dead?

Phantomcrow 10-12-2013 01:10 PM

Yes, the Unlimited/ DC Classics line is dead after this. These 4 of Superboy, Ice, Damian, and 90's Aquaman will be the last. Containment suit Doomsday will be SDCC 2014 and I hope to the toy gods that they find a way to do Unleashed Doomsday as a Matty exclusive or SOMETHING. I have been waiting YEARS for a proper Doomsday.

What's more BS is that the DCU quarterly stuff is going to be available through Early Access. Talk about a middle finger to those who subscribed.

CMIII 10-13-2013 10:56 AM

Yeah we only subbed why care about the people who do whats right, so wrong them in the Process

Phantomcrow 10-13-2013 01:15 PM

I have 2 he man subs already, so not an issue for the early access but I understand they should do something for the supporters of the DC line. Even if all we GB people got was a crappy glowing Slimer for our trouble last year , it was something. I signed up for the DC and Ghostbusters stuff this year too. I sign up for just about anything Matty does and just roll with the punches and kicks to the groin as they come.

CMIII 10-13-2013 02:41 PM

this isn't a kick to the groin this is Kano from Mortal Combat ripping your heart out
