LEDs and Motor connection
 

Greetings Customizers and Toy Lovers,

I'm working on a custom for myself at the moment. It's my first custom ever. I decided to take apart one of my favorite figures to try to make it look a little better and add some style, but I'm stuck.

I need a mini motor, 4 led lights and a switch in a series circuit. I managed to pull off the 4 lights and got those working, but the motor and switch would not work. Does anyone have a way this could work? It was my first time doing LEDs and soldering. I'm clearly not a professional, but I'd very much appreciate if someone could help me out.

It looked like this:

Battery---Negative wire--- motor ---resistor---led---led---led---led---positive wire--switch---positive wire---back to battery.


With that setup the light only worked after taking the switch off. Any help out there from someone who knows what they are doing?
