Avengers All Stars Figures

Hasbro Avengers All Stars 6-Inch Figures

Joe Moore 01-29-2014 10:58 AM

Really nothing to see here folks. These make the other 5 points of articulation figures look like masterpiece level toys.

ultraman zoffy 01-29-2014 11:04 AM

Seems like the new strategy from Hasbro is to beat out bootleggers of their toys by bootlegging them themselves. Seriously, this is flea market level product right here.

itMFtis 01-29-2014 11:10 AM

At least DC is attempting some "ok" articulation with the Total Heroes 6" "kids" line. These Marvel ones feel like such a waste of plastic.

Joe Moore 01-29-2014 11:15 AM

I'm usually a defender of kid friendly sculpts/articulation. But these ones just seem so poorly done. Price is about the only thing going for them.

Haha yeah no kidding, I think these are the smaller versions of those Titan Target heroes they had just not as big...

ZeoVGM 01-29-2014 11:30 AM

Yikes, those are pretty awful but at $7 and clearly aimed towards parents looking for cheap toys for their kids, it's hard to complain.

Ravenxl7 01-29-2014 11:51 AM

Sculpt-wise these don't look too bad. For seven bucks Hawkeye might be worth getting just for the bow. With some detail refining and some paint, the figures themselves might even make half-decent custom statues.

psb81 01-29-2014 12:26 PM

These are for kids, why does everyone have to hate on everything toy companies do? Collectors are not the primary market for toys...

Most parents wont spend 19.99 for one superhero figure, but they will buy these and that will get the kid hooked on action figures. Then someday some of those kids will become adult collectors and help keep our hobby alive.

For $7 these don't look bad at all, and anyone sayign they look like bootlegs is just being ridiculous.

Dagger 01-29-2014 12:52 PM

They're going to put out this junk and soon raise the price to $10 so they can "justify" when they put the Legends line up to $30 a piece at retail.

Blanka 01-29-2014 02:29 PM

And yet they have 5 more points of articulation than the Mezco Heisenberg "figure", which costs 20-something bucks.

Enigma2K2 01-29-2014 02:33 PM

... maybe if you stopped putting out so much s*** like this, you could save some money, Hasbro.

TheUncannyMike 01-29-2014 02:39 PM

I may be crazy but I want the blue & yellow Ironman.

DevconSupreme 01-29-2014 06:42 PM

It just blows my mind why on earth Hasbro would waste money and production time in making such crap!!!! Kids these days want to play with iPads, iPhones, & video games....not worthless figures with basic articulation? It's us adult collectors that keep the action figure industry going......not the want from kids

salsa4datass 01-29-2014 06:51 PM

those are so disappointing. I love how the assortment only includes one thor. oh hasblow, you silly company...

This is what I think too, a line geared to create more collectors. Start on them before they're too far in to technology, or at the very least get them doing both. Hasbro aren't as stupid as some might think, this is based on what buyers are spending now, buying cases etc. Cutting a path for the impressionable is just a logical step for them

warmachine6 01-30-2014 12:46 AM

whoever made these was clearly for the younger audience so don't get too round up about them I know i did but i thought hang on what if a younger child once a figure similar size to marvel legends but cant because some parents see those small parts and think no point because it may get lost or whatever.
I think these might be built just so that it can be handled in a child's hand.
not sure about the 3.75" ones though possibly the same

Ninjinister 01-30-2014 02:12 AM

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure yellow/blue Iron Man and Hawkeye are from the 3.75 line.

And seriously, I'm not articulation snob. 5 POA is all I ask for. More is better of course, but if you can't give me 5 POA I can't give you money.

SilverCenturion 01-30-2014 08:07 AM

That hawkeye head might work. Better hawkeye custom as opposed to that massive Jeremy Renner head on the 3.75 inch figure.
