Game of Thrones Legacy Series 2
|
These look awesome. Hope they improved the quality issues with wave 1. I had stuff breaking so easily just while taking out of package and putting up for display. Either way I'm getting them. Drogo is sick looking!
|
The breakage issues of Wave 1 have completely put me off buying any Legacy figures at all. If they do fix the poor plastic quality and QC issues, then I may jump on one of the future Legacy lines they do, but it's a big maybe.

Initially, I was excited about these figures, but nothing kills my enthusiasm for a line like poor QC. I'm hoping that Funko works out all their QC issues by the time the Firefly series goes into production. Either way, poor QC or not, I'm intent on buying those. However, it would be nice to be able to open their packages and not have to immediately break out the super glue. |
what did they do to poor Arya's wrists? shes got the jesus spikes in there

Also wish they didn't put another Daenary's in to the mix. So many other characters I want.
I can deal with the QC issues. It's not like I play with them and nothing a little glue can't fix. But I know what your saying at $20 a figure they should be up to par. Since it's Funko's first time at these guys I'll cut them some slack. |
DROGO LOOKS BAD ASS!!
The Kingslayer... HUGE HEAD!! The next week, hopefully, arrives mi The Hound figure from series 1, I have seen in videos the problems with the broken joins so as a ninja I'll remove the case from the figure. Saludos from Chile! |

I'm going to have to get every one of these, although Dany's face isn't looking right to me in that pic. Arya is the one I'm most excited for. As for QC, I've only had one bad experience and that was poor Tyrion who's arms remained in the tray when I took him out. Both sockets were gooped with glue so it looked like they were broken at the factory and the worker tried to glue them, unless it was pre-owned and whoever had it before me broke & glued him. The main issue I've noticed is frozen joints, which are usually frozen because of paint. If you don't force them to move they shouldn't break. If you get a frozen joint just put the figure in the freezer or very hot water (not quite boiling) for a few minutes and then gently try to move the joint. The heat or cold should help free it. With the second Tyrion I got, one shoulder was completely immobile until I let him soak in hot water and now it works perfectly. This isn't something you'll have to do every time you want to pose the figure - once the joint is free it should stay that way. Overall I think a few frozen joints are pretty easy to overlook with this line (just my opinion) when everything else is so good. The paintjobs are amazing, the sculpted detail is incredible and the articulation is, for the most part, plentiful. |
