New Adventures Skeletor

So after this (AKA Lazer Light Skeletor) there should only be Discs of Doom Skeletor from New Adventures with giant skull chest and box on head and Terror Claws Skeletor. Add I believe that should only leave the He-man counterparts for each as well. Lazer Power He-Man and Flying Fists He-Man. Then they will be out of He-Man and Skeletor versions unless they make some up. Still waiting for Buzz-Saw Hordak and hopefully a Filmation style Hordak.

I have waited so long for this NA skeletor. And they give us this garbage.

By far the worst figure ever released under the motuc banner, good job Mattel design!

I really do not like the NA Skeletor, either. I remember hearing that the helmet does not come off, but on he-man.org it says it does come off. In any case, I think the Faker head accessory is a wasted slot in this figure and it could have waited for the Head Accessory pack rumored to be seeing release soon.

I like the hints at future figures in the bios, namely Buzz Saw Hordak, and Dragstor.

I don't think that is supposed to be the Italian Laser Light version of Skeletor, though. They have a similar look, but I don't really think they would cheap out and not do that particular version of the vintage figure in the Classics line up. I am willing to bet that they would do LL Skeletor properly, with a translucent hand and staff, and proper cape and hood.

There was also the Battle Blade version of Skeletor from the NA era, and He-Man had Battle Punch and Thunder Punch variants as well. I don't think we will see any of the NA variants in the Classics line, but it would be cool, because the Skeletor ones are pretty cool at least. The He-Man ones are a little bland I think. Flying Fists He-Man and Terror Claws Skeletor are certainly going to happen with out a doubt.

Wow, the proto of NA Skelly looked soooooo much better than this.....thing I'm seeing here. :(

The hell is wrong with that Skeletor? Did he eat Hordak?

His chest/cape is a vest overlayed a regular MotU torso. Clearly, it didn't size out well in final production.

Clearly, Mattel took the cheap route.
