Are any of the Batmobile pieces exclusive to this set? If not it should be able to be built with existing parts,aren't the minifigs the same from the Jr.s Batcave?

Does LEGO allow people to scan in Instructions?

What exactly do you mean "allow"? It's yours,you can do whatever you want with it!

That's not exactly how it works. LEGO is usually pretty protective of their IP. Not all companies take kindly to instructions being scanned and thrown online and they can order a DMCA takedown notice on things such as that.

with that batman head you could make yourself a custom mcenroe.

I think it would be fine to scan the Batmobile instructions given:

1. There are multiple fan sites that are already dedicated to listing and archiving Lego instructions. (Unfortunately, they don’t have the SDCC Batmobile.)
2. Once I get the instructions, I intend to spend some money on Lego.com buying the parts and figures to make my own. So it's to Lego's benefit.

Of course, if you don’t feel comfortable listing the instructions, I understand.

I asked Lego support to post the instructions for the SDCC batmobile to their website. They kindly stated that my request has been passed along and suggested that I go to fan sites.
