Howard the Duck. Ohhh yeah I can't believe I am posting that name either... Guardians of the Galaxy featured a Post credit scene (as most movies do now). This one sent a cold chill down my back as I remember the 1986 attempt by Lucas Films to make a "Superhero" movie (Marvels first forey into the Movies) The movie then was bad but made Howard a household name for a short time. So will that mean the Wise Qwacking (pun intended) Duck will be back on the big screen? Probably not...
While yes we sat through a Movie featureing both a Talking Racoon and Tree (Rocket and Groot) I do not think that it would be a good Idea. As it is this does show Disney's Influence after all Disney does lean on wise cracking and Talking Animals particulaly Ducks (Donald, Daisy, Scrooge, Darkwing, Heuy, Dewey, Lewie).

I remember watching the movie a bunch of times as a kid. I was 7 when it came out...I am not sure if they would make a Howard the Duck movie now. But I am sure they are looking into doing something with him if the $$ is there for it. I could see him in that Disney Infinity game, a cartoon, a tv show on the Disney channel...

Not unless they drastically redesign the character and "Disney-fy" him even further than his movie from the 80's, but still avoid turning him into a rip-off/clone of Donald Duck. Ironically Disney used that as the basis of their lawsuit against Marvel back in the day.
