These are VERY cool, but what I really want is a re-release of older Gothitropolis figures. I want badly the Gothitropolis Scarabus:Horos/Anubos/Thothos, but the prices online are outrageous....

I love how you can make a whole kick ass line by just changing the heads & the colors.

Really? Because companies like Mattel and Hasbro get a lot of flack for reusing parts all the time.

I think for the Horsemen, the strength of their appeal lies within their sculpts and paints.

I'm sure you know they are responsible for both the DCUC and MOTU Mattel lines (they sculpted a few Marvel Legends too). I'm also pretty sure you are aware of how celebrated those line are by their fans.

I'm a fan of the Horsemen and their work with DCUC (and Gothitropolis - can we get Horos, Thothos, and Anubos remade? Please? I'll be your best friend!!), but I do agree with you in that this sort of thing is usually frowned upon. While I love Horsemen-sculpts, I don't always see the minute differences in bucks that others claim to see. However, the great sculpts and paints make me pretty forgiving of the repetition.
