Imaginext Mega Triceratops "Dino Rider"

Ok, so I never had seen this guy in stores ever that I remember.

There are hardly even any images on line to see how big it is.

It seems to be a desert theme between the armor on the guy and the Triceratops.

Parts of it kind of look like scaled up pieces from the other Triceratops, lost the mouth opening gimmick which looked weird anyways.

I got mine on e-bay for $34.95 shipped the cheapest I have seen it and worth it, it has to be in the $20ish range at retail anyways, if I had ever seen it.

It seems everyone got tons of those electronic Spiosaurus, T-rex, and the huge Apatosaurus.

Figure:

He comes with armored shoulder gear with a little visor, I am sure it's a repaint of some other lines but who cares it looks awesome.

Underneath he clearly has a deserty themed suit.

Dino Tech Gear:

He comes with a 2 man back pack platform with fold out launcher and claw arm, and 2 grey missiles.

I couldn't get the guy to sit in this and hold the handles at first his legs weren't folding all the way up.

After I got him in there he stays fine.

The 2 parts store completely in those pods when you turn the foot disk to the right it springs up the launcher and when you turn it left it pops open the cover over the claw arm.

It's very nice the claw arm has a joint at the bottom, double joint in the middle and opening closing claw, you also have to fold it out, which is nice since you can actually pose it.

The launcher is a beast, it has a huge targeting reticle that sits behind the driver when it's down, when you turn the foot dial to the right the thing springs forward on this monster of a joint.

It's designed so that even if a pilot is in the seat the reticle goes completely over him with no collision, it looks as if its going to knock the driver out of his seat at first.

The horn pieces look like some kind od energy bond conduit things, they are thick but I'm not shoving mine down to far on the horns so they don't get torn.

I shortened my missiles so they would be flush with the launcher, oddly I thought this one and the new red triceratops use the same missile but this one has a more conical tip the new one has a rounded edge.

Oh he has a nice cushy seat, with what look to be large blaster speakers behind his seat.

Dino:

As I said above I thought in images it was just the green triceratops since there were hardly any images comparing them, even asked Mattel.

This thing is a beast, great color like the ones on the Dino-Riders cartoon.

Gured' Up:

Have to take some more images if anyone is interested, this is a good comparison.
