Hot Toys at STGCC 2014
 

Looks like the same guardians set shown at SDCC. I'm really hoping that is just a prototype drax head and they're reworking it to give him a little more emotion in the final product, that or some kind of alternate head (smiling/laughing or angry would be great).

As it is now, i've already pre-ordered the rest of the set (they look fantastic) but poor Drax looks like he 'was thinking of something else' and just seems not interested in whats going on around him. A little too off putting when displayed with the rest of the set.

Just a minor note, but that's the 92 Returns Batman...not 89.

What's the difference between the two?

The chest armour is the giveaway. It's kinda robotic unlike the sculpted-in muscles of the suit from the first movie

totally agree that drax's head is not right. but i'm hoping that's why he's the last to be released, because they're reworking him. i'll buy regardless but hopefully they hear it needs improvement.
