Custom TDKR Batman Repaint
6 Attachment(s)
Hello, I'm new to Toyark, but I've been doing Custom Star Wars and Superhero figures for a few years. Here's a few photos of one of my most recent custom figures. All I did was repaint the Mattel DKR Batman. I used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove part of the existing Bat Symbol on his chest and repainted the figure with acrylic paints.

That looks amazing!

Nicely done. The markings on the gloves and boots are clever, suggesting folds and texture. Your version is much better than the store-bought. I bet you could do a better face sculpt, too.

Thanks! I always imagined the cape, cowl, boots and gloves were so dark blue that they seemed black in low light. I tried to use the blue paint as if light was shining on the suit from different angles and to highlight muscle definition and folds in the material.
