I got the TRU exclusive version with the smaller base, it's a nice way to get the same awesome figure for about $10 cheaper.

Gotta tell you...I am disgusted by Diamond Select. They have blackballed me for years. I own a Monster Café in Saltillo Mexico and they have always refused to send anything my way where thousands of people see the café every year. But they send Toyark free stuff all the time. It stinks.

I had this preordered at Amazon but canceled because I really don't need it.

They only sent Toyark the Van Helsing figure, Joe Moore (if that is his real name) stated that he had to find this figure at a local-comic-shop. To defend Toyark, it's a known toy collector/reviewer forum site so sending toys here for early reviews is a solid idea for drumming up business for the company.

I'm not sure why they should send free stuff to a cafe. It doesn't benefit them in the least. Companies send stuff to toy news/review sites because we review them, show detailed photographs, in some cases do videos of them and generally bring attention to those items and the company as a whole. Those reviews/galleries are available at all times, across multiple venues (the site, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.). Having an item tucked away on a shelf doesn't really have the same effect nor potential benefits.

Also, I purchased this item myself. Diamond Select Toys did NOT provide the Creature.
