OH! Awesome! For the low cost of your soul, they give you Slim and Fit Trooper and Louis C.K. Trooper, aka Carl! Carl loves long walks in the Death Star corridors, the twin sunset of Tatooine, pina coladas, and getting caught in a turbolift. I wish he would come with a voice chip that would have sayings like "What do you mean you left the speeder parked at the old Death Star?", "It's not like Lord Vader's gonna find out about those droids!", and "Wanna go down to the detention block and have some target practice on those Gungans?".

You even get some spare hands for eating Traladon Ribs. Now that's authentic!

Now I'm wondering if the heads will also come off so you can change them out with the Mythbusters heads. I smell custom!

Even the logo they used makes me think of the Troops parody.

So this means Han and Luke in Stormtrooper disguise will be made at some point.

That's a possibility for sure. Though, with how easy the heads can be removed, I can see a lot of people just popping the heads off and swapping them. Also, the belts on the Troopers is removable, so you can also place those on other figures.

This is a real slap in the face. Do the people at Hot Toys think we have money to burn? Do they take us so completely for granted?

For FOUR...HUNDRED...DOLLARS, they should AT LEAST throw in decent likenesses of Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill and a pile of gear and accessories, like shoulder pauldrons and backpacks and heavy arms and removable battle damage and maybe those portable tripod cannons from Empire Strikes Back, along with a few surprises to justify the steep retail, like the voice chips Dormamu mentioned above.

I wouldn't part with $50 for these. They're just plain stormtroopers! What are you thinking, Hot Toys?

That's easy. They're thinking Cha CHING! Because by the time you're done milking every variant like Joe Moore suggests, you're not just out 4 large. They could release these as:
Han and Luke with special comm mic
Black Squadron Troopers
Refit Hoth Gear and give them the tripod cannon you suggested
Refit Clone Trooper gear in every color of the rainbow
Vader's 501 Squadron (Vaders Hand)
Refit Sandtrooper gear with SDCC special edition mortar cannon

And the list goes on. Those are the ones I could think of while tired! Troopers may be the red shirts of the Lucasverse, but they're the black accounting line in Hot Toys properties.
