Civil War Comic Packs Speculation Thread
 

Ok, assuming the next theme of the Marvel Universe Comic Packs is indeed Civil War, what is everyone's thoughts on how the series would play out? What figures should be included? Are they new molds, redecos or remolds? What comics would be included?

To get us started, here are the upcoming 2-pack figures that we've seen (and what lend some credence to this whole idea):

Iron Man / Thor
Sentry / Spider-Man
Captain America / Wolverine

My guess is we're dealing with the main Civil War comic, so that would be 7 issues and thus 7 of the 2-packs. Counting the above 3, we'd have 4 left which would mean 8 more figures coming.

Here are some of my guesses/wish-list:
Wonder Man
Bishop
Green Goblin (Norman in a suit, please!)
Taskmaster
Invisible Woman (remold of Ms. Marvel, w/"invisible" and phasing variants)
Hercules
Nitro
Black Goliath (either new mold or remold of GB Giant Man; credit to TheSymbiote for this one)

Sound off below and let's see how close we can second-guess Hasbro!

I started reading Marvel after this event.

I really hope that they get to a Herc. New molds for the most part. I also think Task Master can EASILY be done with the parts we have now! HAsbro just needs to kit bash like crazy!

If this is civil war... I really wanted to see Nitro, Speedball, Penance and the rest of the New Warriors.

Wonderman + Scarlet Spider (iron spidey clones)
Bishop + Invisible Woman (Just a simplistic for and against pack)
Ricochet + Darkhawk (The Support group for heroes)
She-Hulk + Prodigy (Drunken Prodigy needs a lawyer...)
and Howard the Duck + Nova Prime (sidelines so to speak, Howard gets out of registering, and Nova and tony get in a spat too)
or
Nova Prime + Shield Agent (when they surrounded his house in CW)
SongBird + O'Grady Ant-Man (Thunderbolts)
Squirrel Girl + Grasshopper (GLI)
Cloak + Dagger
Maria Hill + Tony stark
Sharon Carter + Maskless Stever Rogers. (bonus if he has handcuffs)
Crossbones + Red Skull's daughter
or
Falcon + Crossbones
Winter Soldier + Red Skull's Daughter
Jessica Drew + Heady lady of SWORD.
Unmasked Spider-man + Unmasked IronMan

I can be happy with simplicity. Everything else I want is just about covered...
Cept for Mascot Suit Deadpool or mockingbird, but they're secret invasion.

O... and before i forgot... i wanted An invisible woman in her crystal clear version:D just like the flame on version of the Furyfiles Human Torch which is very cool.

i was planning on posting what i would like to see in the civil war 2packs,but its just too dam much.and if they keep going with the 2pack half the characters in the link could be in World War Hulk 2pack and some of them could be in secret invasion packs then siege and so on

Maybe a Black Goliath + Thor clone 2-pack?

Though it would be really cool if Hasbro continued to follow the newer storylines/events/crossovers, but they may include older ones in the comic pack series and save some of the Civil War stuff for the single packs.

I'm thinking the Thor coming in the 2-pack with Iron Man will probably be the Clone version, but you never know.

Why wouldn't they wait to do Iron Spidey for the Civil War packs? Seems obvious.

Never stopped them from reusing one over either.

Yeah, that mold for Spidey has been released 7 times so far: wave 1 + variant, TRU Amazing Friends 3-pack, Secret Wars #1, Series 5 + variant and the upcoming Target Battle Pack release.

Black Spidey's mold is up to 3 (not counting House of M or Iron Spider): Series 3, Secret Wars #2, Greatest Battles (w/Sentry).

why are you counting the spiderman that comes with sentry,i thought he was red and blue

^ that one was repainted in the House of M colors i think, but his point is that it uses the Black Spidey mold :)

I'm thinking maybe Ares. He was mentioned in the Juggernaut's HAMMER file along with Sentry who is comic packed.

I like the suggestions of Ares and Wonder as well as Nova (no cape) and maybe Patriot, Triathlon or Pulsar.
