Superhero Nicknames
 

Got this idea on a forum thread I read years ago and I thought it would be fun to try it here. Basically, most of our beloved superheroes have nicknames in addition to their codename. These are either created within the fiction (by other characters or self-referential) or by the fans.

What I'd like to see is how many we can list here. This goes for all comics, not just Marvel or DC.

Here's a few examples to get you motivated:

Spider-Man: Webhead, Wallcrawler, Spidey, "Tiger"
Superman: Man of Steel, Man of Tomorrow, Last Son of Krypton, Son of Jor-El
Batman: Dark Knight, [Dark Knight] Detective, Caped Crusader, "Bats"
Wolverine: Ol' Canucklehead, "Runt"

Iron Man: Shellhead, Golden Avenger, Silver Centurion, too many others to list at this moment.

Booster Gold(ironically his name was actually his nickname combined with his superhero name, Goldstar)

Daredevil: Scarlet Swashbuckler, DD, The Man Without Fear, Red, Hornhead, The Kingpin of Hell's Kitchen, Nameless One

Wolverine: Wolvie
Cyclops: Cyke, One eye, Dick,
Mary Jane: MJ, big red, Miss kitty boom boom pants.
Kitty Pryde: Fraulein, Katzche, kitten, Sprite, Arial, Shadowcat, Ms. Frilly non-offensive names. (Emma called her something like this in ASX)
Beast: Furball
Nightcrawler: Fuzzy Elf
AIM: Bee keepers, Bee-Men, worker bees.
Namor: Fish boy, Gills,
Superman: Boyscout, big blue
Hawkeye: Boyscout
Stever Rogers: Cap, Boyscout,
Domino: Dom
Storm: Goddess, O, Weather Witch

The only one I can really think of atm is a one-off Spidey nickname for Iron Man that appeared in an issue of Amazing during Civil War. "Ferrous Fellow" XD Cracks me up every time I read it.

Beast: Hank, Doc

Jean Grey: Red
Mr. Fantastic: Stretch, Slim, Brain, Egghead
Human Torch: Hothead
Thing: Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing, "Brickhead", "Craterface"
Hulk: Jade Giant, Skar, Green Goliath
Thor: Odinson, Goldielocks, Thundergod
Loki: Trickster, Father of Lies
Robin: Boy Wonder
Joker: Clown Prince of Crime, Harlequin (this was before his girlfriend premiered)
Green Lantern: Emerald Knight, Emerald Guardian
Flash: Speedster

Human Torch: Match Stick
Green Arrow: Emerald Archer, Ollie
Flash: The scarlet Speedster
