I like them both, but the gold reflective paint highlights the sculpt in ways that the silver does not. Maybe the black background is creating the illusion I'm experiencing....

lol....yeah, the use of "gold plated" as a descriptor made me chuckle.

Taking that a step further, thinking of typical entertainment awards ceremonies, wouldn't it be sort of nerdishly cool to present one of these (on a trophy base) to winners of awards for best horror and/or science fiction? :rolleyes:
