Prime 1 Studio New Licenses
|
Would it be unrealistic for me to hope for some small articulated figures as a result of this deal? Glancing at recent Prime 1 releases on sites like EE and BBTS, all I see is extremely high priced statues and busts. Is that their chosen market niche?

They don't do figures at all. They only do busts and statues. Mattel and DC Collectibles are the license holders for standard size figures. Sideshow/Hot Toys for 1/6 scale, NECA has some licenses for 1/4 scale, 3A for redesigned 1/6 scale, Square Enix for Variant style Play Arts Kai, etc.

It's too bad that the TMNT stuf didn't pan out, but I'm curious to see what all they'll do with all this Batman licensing. I won't5 be able to afford anything they do, but it'll be cool to see what they do.
That said, isn't it a tad late to be jumping on the 75 years of Batman bandwagon? |
