Sideshow Toys has just put up orders for the new Hot Toys, Star Wars (Ep. IV: A New Hope) Darth Vader! Find the details HERE. Me too. I own the SS ROTJ Deluxe version and can't decide if I want to take it out or wait. I'm leaning toward the HT version though.

I am only in if that cape is poseable, that is the only I can justify a third 1/6th scale Vader on my shelf. Lol

I thought about jumping on the bandwagon, but I just can't justify that price point, not for any figure. I will be happy with one of the upcoming 1:12 scale versions - Medicom or Figuarts - whichever is best.

I have been waiting for a Hot Toys Darth Vader, but I'm still going to wait.

1) I want a Empire Strikes Back version, the costume details would make it more appealing to me.

2) Hot Toys always improves with additional attempts at a character, and while this version looks great, a second attempt will likely be even better.
