NECA Will Release In Scale Alien Facehuggers

Heh heh, the Facehugger Friday tease was actually facehuggers for once.

With the last round of releases and some of the upcoming items, it may be time for me to finally jump in on their Alien stuff.

I hope it ends up being like a 5 pack of eggs and huggers and not having to buy some big ass figure just to get them.

I'd say the most recent Big Chap from series 2 is a necessity for an Alien(s) collection, and the Dog Alien from series 3 is probably the best overall toy in the line so far.
Something like the demon bag (or bag of demons I don't remember the name) from Spawn would be cool as shit. I don't think another big figure from the Alien line could have these, they already did the Queen and the power loader shouldn't come with any. I would like if they made a regular just about $20 figure type release, but instead it's a diorama like base with two or three eggs and four or so facehugger all on a base that looks like the hive floor with pegs for some figures to stand on.

I am sure they will be part of a lovely display that , like the hallway display last year, will be something we can not buy. I am expecting a really nice Queen display with the new Ripley revealed in it fill of nice eggs and huggers we can't have. My only hope these are coming with ripley is that the front legs are arched up like the Med Bay scene in the movie, but that might also mean we are getting Ripley in her bomber jacket too.

While we won't be getting a display that we know of, yes these will be released. The article even makes a note about that. They've also confirmed and shown the eggs themselves, those were teased like a month ago. Most likely they'll be included as accessories with upcoming figures, Kane was a missed opportunity to include an open egg.

I think they should just go with the accessory pack idea. A couple eggs (one open, one closed), and a couple facehuggers (one in running/attack pose and one in head clamp mode) Which reminds me, where did that Gremlins Egg/Cocoon go?? I really wanted that too.

They did a skull pack for the predator line, so an egg/facehugger pack isn't an absurd idea but I'd like at least double on your numbers.

I guess the Gremlins line didn't do well enough to keep support going. They teased we're getting something new from the license on Twitter, but then said it wouldn't be another series just some individuals. This leads me to guess we'll get a classic video game NES Gremlins 2 figure.

If they do it like the Pred Skulls and not put them in stores , only online, then I am fine with 4 of each in a brown box like the skulls. YOu HEar Us NECA!!! ANd yeah I think I saw the twit photo of the wip of 8-Bit Mohawk or Stripe. I am still upset about the Female they showed and never made. I hate all the concept Mogwai.
