Robotech 30th Anniversary VF-1J Rick Hunters Veritech Fighter - The Toyark - News

Looks cool, but buying this means I am supporting Harmony Gold, which means I am supporting criminals who have stolen the enjoyment of the Macross series away from everyone outside of Japan. When they start to give us all of the Macross series on BD, then I'll let go of my HG embargo.

Aren't these just re-releases of the brittle as hell 1:100 line they did years ago?

That may be true but I have not collected Robotech in a long time so I'm out of the current loop.

yeah

These may seem neat new out of the box but give it a few month and those joints will start to fall apart. The joints are so poorly designed.

General rule of thumb for any fan, Robotech or Macross: Toynami is bad juju. Pass recommended.

Good pics. This one, especially, turned out really well.

I'm not sure I picked it up at a flea market for background on images.

Jetfire looks good....oh wait.

Not that I have collected these, but if they did a Macross Plus two set from a different producer in this size class, I'd be all over it.

Bandai's Hi-Metal vf-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie is the closest you're gonna get.

Is it me, or is the color off on Max's veritech? I thought it was mostly blue?
