Mezco Gets Bugs Bunny License
|
About freaking time!!! Hope they do chracters beyond bugs. Keep it to 4 inches max 5. Don't add any articulation that destroys the aesthetics like jawzwares did with hanna barbera. Hope they would do modern archie figures as well and by modern i mean late 80-mid 90's. WB really does not take advantage and properly monetize their properties.

Odd. I thought I posted here yesterday, speculating about the potential for small poseable Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner figures. (Not sure how it could be done, except maybe with wire limbs under fabric, or using bendy-rubber like Gumby.)
Anyway, maybe the license is ONLY for Bugs Bunny. There are more Looney Tunes figures that I'd like to see first, but Bugs could be fun. The character design has changed over the years, and has appeared in different historical settings, so one merchandise line might be something like 'Bugs Over The Ages.' |
It's interesting that Mezco seems to have no prevailing theme when acquiring licenses. They do a little bit of everything, kind of a pop culture catch-all modality. I think I like that...
