Japanese toy maker Wave Corporation will release a Hang-On arcade cabinet model kit next May in Japan.
The price will be 3600 yens (plus tax) and it's gonna be scaled at 1/12. (the article hints that they had figs compatibility in mind when choosing this scale)

After Hang On is released, they plan to release Afterburner, Space Harrier and other big arcade cabinets from Sega.

The kit is pre-painted and will look good enough with only assembly and stickers (included)

The exact name of the product (and the line) is:
