Miss Fury
1 Attachment(s)
"Marla Drake was a rich socialite whose life had no purpose. Circumstance and whim had her don the ancient ceremonial Black Leopardskin costume to attend a masquerade. As whenever one is chosen by the forces of mystermen/women, she never made it to that party. Instead she helped apprehend a murderer and was known for a while as The Black Fury but later was dubbed "Miss Fury".
Recipe: Head: GI Joe ROC Scarlet Mask: Part of the helmet from Iron Man 2 Mandarin Body: Marvel Universe Black Widow Cape: Marvel Universe Storm Another quick custom. As I was hunting for ideas I came across a pic of Miss Fury I saw the simplicity of it and realized I would be stupid not to make a custom of her to go with my other Golden Age heroes. Luckily I had picked up all those Toys R Us Avengers exclusives (the ones with the light up stands) when they went on clearance so I have several of those Black Widows. I sculpted and cut up a Mandarin helmet to get make the cowl. Quick paint job later and she was finished. |
Very nice. Reminiscent of Golden Age Batwoman, only more sensible, as Batwoman's tights were yellow - rather conspicuous for a rooftop-leaping vigilante. :D
