SW Black Series Commander Cody Wave Update
 

What was in this wave again....?

Cody, Emperor , and Red trim Clone trooper I believe. But it might have been the wave with Leia as Boshh and Trooper Luke. I can not remember now.

It was Bossh Leia, IG-88, and two of Cody.

Small update: my distro order still shows as valid but the product link is dead and the shipping date is listed as "off web-june" instead of the previous "june 2015"

Its also worth noting that the story on this site says "cody wave pulled" as though it were canceled but the actual tweet says its temporary, and pre-orders can resume on May 3rd.

Perhaps a Force Awakens spoiler on the boxes?

I fail to see why they would have any Force Awakens info at all unless Palpatine or Cody somehow return in the new trilogy. The other Black Series figures don't include any advertising for upcoming releases, whether they be toys or other media.

Maybe they are holding out for something special on May the Fourth.

2x Cody, 1x Bosh Leia, 1x IG-88.

BBTS didn't cancel my preorder. My guess is they screwed up on the case assortment. I find it weird that there is 2 of Cody.

Ah, good call ^^^ I forgot it was IG88 and not the Emperor.

I would also suspect they're taking out the second Cody. Seems like any other (generic) army builder would be a better choice.

I keep forgetting IG-88 as well. I am just afraid they will make Dengar, 4-Lom, and Zukkuss a special set or con exclusive to finish out the Bounty Hunters since you know they will peg warm like Greedo.

Greedo doesn't have the fan-base most of the other bounty hunters do, this is evident with Bossk alone who has pre-sold out at bbts. Every hunter in ESB has a following that dwarfs Greedo. It's one of the movie's most famous scenes, and using the 3.75 line as reference the ESB hunters sell like hotcakes.

Well maybe for 4-Lom and Zukkuss, but who really loves Dengar :-P
But they did use Dengar in the Clone Wars cartoon.

Dengar is easily the least popular, ooh boy a disgruntled lookin' man with a toilet paper turban! I did like that Simon Pegg voiced Dengar in TCW and that he was also shown to be less than entirely competent, but overall Dengar has never been as popular as his scene-mates.

The original tweet itself is embedded in the news story. So it's not like there should be any confusion. Regardless, I have updated the story with more clear wording and apologize if it lead to any misunderstandings.

The only error I found in this wave is cody´s neck being white instead of black like the rest of his suit. I hope Hasbro is trying to fix that.
