First up is Thanos!

Love this shot.

DESTRO 03-27-2015 09:39 AM

Yeah that group pic was able to happen because of NJCC pick-ups. Really good timing.

Iron Man Mark 43 is now up!

Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 43 Age of Ultron Photo Shoot - The Toyark - News

TheBlueMarvel 03-28-2015 06:37 AM

Is it possible to like the design of the figure while not being fond of the design of the character (or more specifically, the armor)?

I like this fig as much as I dislike that armor design...oxymoronic statement?...of course.

...and I think we can all agree that the 'pizza slice' is now the single greatest Marvel Legend accessory of all time.

Dr Kain 03-28-2015 08:32 AM

I want this Thanos, but I don't want to have buy all of the toys to get him. :-(

Pravus Prime 03-28-2015 09:02 AM

I'm thinking I'll get that Iron Man. I haven't gotten an IM since Iron Man 1 if I'm not mistaken. I really like the flipped up face panel head.

Thanos looks nice, but it doesn't really do much for me. I may have picked it up as an individual figure, but as a BAF, it's a fairly easy pass.

TimothyR 03-29-2015 12:38 AM

you'd think that with all of the accessories these legends figures have, they'd be able to give iron man a set of proper repulser hands.

yeah, that's how i feel about the ultron wave. i really want ultron, but i don't want to have to buy all of those other figures to get it.

Spider-Woman is now up! What a great figure and character.

TheBlueMarvel 03-29-2015 03:19 PM

Spider-Woman looks good...I wish there was some better way to handle these characters with costume elements (meshing/wings/webs) underneath their arms. That said, Hasbro has handled the few characters featuring this sort of accent in a much better fashion than ToyBiz had...

Damn. Those pics are great. You got some really good shots there man. Figure has a ton of good articulation to boot.

Enigma2K2 03-29-2015 06:21 PM

Good god I want this Spider-Woman.

Exodus 03-30-2015 09:42 AM

Glad I ordered the case wave for this so now I don't have to worry about hunting for it.

DESTRO 03-30-2015 10:06 AM

Every figure in this wave is solid and if your just now getting into Marvel Legends collecting, with this wave alone, it's like a pot of Marvel Legends Gold when it comes to character selection. Is a good wave for everybody who collects but even better for the mass market.

DESTRO 03-30-2015 12:52 PM

Up next is Avengers Age of Ultron Hulk!

Marvel Legends The Hulk Age of Ultron Thanos Wave Photo Shoot - The Toyark - News

Zend 03-30-2015 05:28 PM

Great wave. Batroc and Hulk are definitely my favorites. I know a lot of people are fed up with Hasbro doing minimal sculpt work and re using the same bucks a lot, but the Bucky Cap body works so well with the characters they've been using it for. Batroc is just about perfect if you can ignore the lack of unique sculpt work below the neck.

Hulks only issue is neither his feet or his head move up. I think the green color they picked looks awful and mine was packaged in a way that bent the Betty loving shit out of his right knee, but those are both personal gripes. One of them is at least easily fixable.

TheBlueMarvel 03-30-2015 11:00 PM

The pics of the Hulk are great. I hope Hasbro fixes the lack of texture on the Hulk's torso before the release of 'Banner Hulk' in the Hulk/Ultron/Vision 3pk. The absence of texture on the chest and back is really distracting. How did something like that make it past Hasbro's final approval phase?

Joe Moore 03-31-2015 04:31 AM

Hulk looks good. Some nice shots there, especially the jumping "Hulk Smash" style pics.

DESTRO 03-31-2015 04:13 PM

Hellcat is up, I have some issues with her but still a nice C list character.

Marvel Legends Hellcat Avengers Age of Ultron Thanos Wave Photo Shoot - The Toyark - News

TheBlueMarvel 03-31-2015 06:06 PM

Good pics of a very pose-challenged figure.

I think I can see where you might have issues with this fig. I wish Hasbro would retire those shoulders and that torso isn't very flattering. For a character that is dexterous and nimble, the fig (without having it in my hands - I get my case shipment from BBTS tomorrow) seems stiff and clumsy. I'll know with more certainty when I get the fig whether or not she is in fact the Ororo buck - I know many liked that buck with it selling for obscene prices online, but I'm not exactly a fan.

In spite of all the smack I just talked, Hellcat is one of the figs from this line that I desire the most. I need any additions to my Classic Defenders line up that I'm able to get my mitts on...thanks for the pics, you always do a great job.

Edit: I'm so embarrassed that I only just now noticed your pros and cons listed clearly on your photo post..."me like pretty pictures, read bad." You said exactly the opposite of what I wrote. Sorry for seeming cognitively delayed....duh

DESTRO 04-01-2015 02:16 PM

Captain America is now up for your viewing pleasure.

Marvel Legends Captain America Avengers Age of Ultron Thanos Wave Photo Shoot - The Toyark - News

TheBlueMarvel 04-01-2015 02:28 PM

I just got my Thanos wave shipment and I'm liking Cap a great deal more than I thought I was going to. The shield accessory is my favorite Cap shield to date!

and....pizza slice!

Joe Moore 04-01-2015 04:42 PM

Nice shield toss pics man! Great stuff.

Trivial Psychic 04-01-2015 06:22 PM

Wait..."Very Avengers Age of Ultron movie accurate" is a con?

Just curious...how so? That "con" has me scratching my head...

I think it's meant to be a pro since in the actual write-out he says he likes it being the movie look.
