My pictures from Dallas and A-Kon 2015
 

This weekend my g/f and I were at A-Kon in Dallas, my first for both, and it was fantastic. We got to hang out with our friends from Funimation along with meeting some of their friends that live in Dallas with was amazing. Not only that, but we went to a Charity Breakfast Banquet and it was hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had at a convention. It was great. Unfortunately, the last day teetered out into bleh because there were little to no panels to go to after we got out of the banquet.

I also recorded a bit of walking around and some costumes, along with my Voltron vs Golion panel, so I'll post those after I edit everything together and upload them to my Youtube channel.

A-Kon got to be my first time recording my experience there. As such, it isn't my best work, but I have a better idea of what I want to do in the future. Nonetheless, here is my video from the convention:

Looks like a nice turnout. I'm old; I have no clue who most of the cosplayers are supposed to be. :rolleyes:

Interesting Chinese artifacts! Guess you found an exhibition nearby.

Actually, no. All of the Chinese artifacts are in the hotel itself.

And yeah, we had a lot of fun. We also got to see our friend's house that her and her boyfriend just bought back in Nov, which was awesome.

Finally, here is my Voltron vs Golion panel from A-Kon. It didn't turn out exactly how I had hoped as I'm used to having nearly a full room of people, so it kind of threw off my energy. Oh well.
