DST Gets iZombie License
|
Looks good. Definitely a figure I'll be getting. Thouh I kinda hope they change the color of her hoodie to match the purple one she wears. Also, since she doesn't seem to come with a display base of any kind, I hope she doesn't cost as much as the Gotham figures.
Hopefully Ravi and Clive look good. They're the only other characters I would care to get. |
She needs an alternate zombie head, with red eyes and open mouth.

Update from Diamond on Facebok: Diamond Select Toys: No, TRU will have this same figure, not the zombie version. Same accessories, same packaging. The full-on zombie version will be offered at a future date. |
The packaging looks nice... but seems rather cheaper than what DST usually uses for their Select figures. Definitely a figure I'm still planning on getting, even though I doubt they'll make anyone else from the show.
I imagine the full-on zombie version of Liv will be a convention exclusive. Probably for SDCC next year. |
Well for a Select figure it looks like she gets a stand instead of a diorama base. Plus a hand full (no pun intended) of accessories. I guess it is a trade off, a big base like the Gotham figures vs little accessories. I just hop e she looks ok in mass production. The Jim Gordon figure looks terrible in person.
I kind of want her to hang out with the Riddler and his desk when the Select series 2 figures come out for Gotham. |
they should make one that looks like the comic book version!

Edit: Nevermind... was re-reading the original announcement... it's a pipe... Also, I forgot that they said there would be other figures down the line. Would be great, but I still think Liv and FOZ Live could still be it for this series. Since Live is comin out on her own, the possibility of future figures could depend on how well she sells. Quote:
Speaking of which, has there been any hint as to who will be doing the inevitable Supergirl figures? I'm assuming DST will, but I kinda hope that's one license DCC is able to cover figure-wise. |
