Mondo at SDCC 2015

SDCC 2015 - Mondo - TMNT, Madballs, Hellboy, Scott Pilgrim

While I'm usually a 1/12 scale collector, these new turtles look so cool I'm not sure I'll be able to resist.

Also, that piece of Shredder's armor will be an accessory to one of the turtles (probably Donatello). It was the "proof" that they find at the end of the first issue that Shredder is dead.

That's a weird color scheme for that Little Orphan Alien. Actually I think it'd make more sense to have Klunk there.

EDIT: Also that's not Krang, that's an Utrom. Dagnabbit!

I had the same thought. Those turtles look superb; just wish they weren't so BIG.

...the Turtles are too big for me. Also I like NECA's turn better, too bad they're so expensive now. Might be tempted if these came in 1/12

Madballs !!!!! Good god

Robogeek28 07-10-2015 12:19 PM

Those Turtles are too big, otherwise I'd need them badly.

Badmoonrising4 07-10-2015 01:28 PM

so many great things! I want those turtles but I fear Mondo's pricing.

YES!!! I've been waiting for a 1/6 scale version of TMNT for a while now (I wasn't too crazy about the Threezero TMNT). I love that Mondo is including two head sculpts; the comic book version and the 1987 turtles version - well technically.

I wonder how much these will cost? I've never heard of Mondo until now.

Can anyone tell me if Mondo figures, particularly the 1/6 scale figures, are worth buying? Let's say compared to HT, Enterbay or Storm Collectibles.

This is actually their first real foray into 1/6 scale figures. However, they seem to be shooting for high quality based on their few previous toy releases.

Robogeek28 07-10-2015 03:50 PM

I just realized they only have 7 of the 8 original Madballs advertised.

Where's the love for BashBrain/CrackHead?
