No Playmates/TMNT coverage?
 

Was there any coverage or reveals from Playmates regarding TMNT? Or did they no-show SDCC this year? I've looked up and down on the forums but have found no information what-so-ever.

I think they may have had a panel, but they did not have a booth at the show. There was a Nickelodeon booth, but there wasn't anything of note present when the guys went by it. Only TMNT stuff was the exclusive from this year and some random merchandise.

There was a panel, and Pixel-Dan filmed the whole thing.

Much appreciated. Really excited to see Mondo Gecko and the Triceratons finally making an appearance. Was hoping to see what the Human Karai that was announced would look like, but I guess it was only an announcement, which I honestly can't look too deeply into since I have yet to see Mutant Karai anywhere except overseas auctions. I'm starting to doubt she ever finds a widespread domestic release...

I guess the Classics line is "on hold" and they're trying to retool it to hopefully sell better. Whatever that means.

Karai is up on amazon now for $12.00 as well as bonafrog. I have a feeling you prefer to find them out in the wild but thought I would flag it for you just in case.

Also target online is listing 5-6 new ones including muckman and Monkey Rockwell. I think the new wave will be in stores soon.

I must have missed it, because all of the Karai figures listed on Amazon have 60 dollar price tags and up. Crazy.

I'm just a little worried that she won't see a wide domestic release. The new figures that were shown at Toy Fair earlier this year have been incredibly slow to release so far, as I am sure they want to put focus on the Mutations line. I'll hold out and be patient in hopes that she is coming soon.

I gave up on this line early on, but that Mondo Gecko figure is definitely going to be a must-buy for me!
Loved him in the new series, and I'm really digging that figure!

And, Fugitoid, his ship, the Pizza Thrower, and Party Wagon all look so cool, that they're making me reconsider my position on these figures.

Can anyone tell me if that Party Wagon is the one that's currently in stores, or is that an updated version?
