I'm surprised they're not going with the thundertank as their first vehicle.

This is an odd choice. Maybe they're just testing the water with this one since it's so much smaller.

Agreed. I would think the Thundertank would be much more iconic, which could get hardcore or casual fans by pulling on the nostagia strings.

I think it really will only matter if the first wave is short. If it's a larger wave, with 5-6 items at once, then this shouln't be too bad. Also, we have no idea how these will be packed. Stuff like this could easily be packed with a character statue as well.

What is the point of vehicles any way. They can't sit in them.

I don't think they'll be in scale with the characters. I think of these the same as Star Wars Titaniums. just made of plastic.

People who want vehicles and action figures that go together will, hopefully, get a shot from Bandai when they launch the main line.
