Man of Steel 2 movie not coming
 

Warner Bros. had announced that Man of Steel 2 has been put on indefinite hiatus. While Superman (Henry Cavill) will appear in the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Two Justice League movies a solo movie has been put on hold. Man of Steel 2 was scheduled for a Summer 2017 release date. DC Cinematic Universe will still put the other 5 movies planned including Wonder Woman and Flash.

It seems like I am in the minority but I really enjoyed Man of Steel, so this is sad news.

Not surprised though with WB behind Marvel when it comes to these types of movies, they're trying to catch up, probably won't happen until after JLA.

Marvel's success was assured simply by taking the lead. DC is handicapped by the fact that they're the follower. If BvS isn't brilliantly innovative, it's unlikely to rake in the same box office receipts.
