With all of the variants that Mezco has put out there of Scorpion and Sub Zero, you would have thought that they could have put out at least one or two figures of actual characters they haven't done yet. Pretty disappointing.

Not seeing the line continuing past wave two with this strategy. Hopefully Mezco picks up the pace soon.

To be fair, the variants are only convention/store exclusives so far. As much as the line needs more characters it would be upsetting if Reptile or Ermac or anybody new was exclusive and therefor harder to get.

Con exclusives, especially NYCC, are becoming more and more just repaints of existing toys. And a lot of the unique exclusives are ending up at retail lately as well, like the recent NECA stuff.

Hell, I'm not complaining. It makes 'em easier to get my hands on for an affordable price. The whiners are mostly scalpers, and their tears are sweet.
