very cool. but i've committed to getting the hot toys version. so, anything else will just pale in comparison and therefor be unnecessary.. but still, this looks fantastic.

dukefett 09-21-2015 07:44 AM

He looks really good, one thing to remember though is that the paint job on C-3PO from revoltech looked amazing in promo photos. Then when we got it in hand it was much duller.

Dolemite 09-21-2015 09:05 AM

Wow, the Revoltech joints actually work really well on robot characters...you don't notice them at all. This thing looks totally bad-ass, way better than the Marvel Legends BAF.

Oh, and he's got the adjustable eyes, too! Keen.

I might have to get this over the Figuarts version. Hope it scales well with the Figuarts Avengers!

This one is going to be just a bit shorter than the Figuarts version. 6.7" vs 6.9". So it should still be taller than most of the Figuarts guys.

Why aren't there any toys of his final form? It can't be considered a spoiler since it was in the trailers. I know this Ultron prime design had more screen time and was the promoted look but I just wonder where any final form toys are.

donmeca2020 09-21-2015 02:28 PM

$48 bucks ?? Not bad probably would look good with the legends and selects.

BattleUpSaber 09-21-2015 03:39 PM

This is cheaper than the Figuarts one right? It looks quite a bit better than both the Figuarts and the Marvel Legends.

It's a lot cheaper, the Figuarts version from Nippon Yasan would be about $76 with the cheapest tracked shipping at today's exchange rate.

There's a national holiday the last few days in Japan, all the online stores are closed til tonight/tomorrow I think.

Kamatayan 09-22-2015 06:49 PM

Definitely have to get this guy. But, if we get news on the Revolmini one I'll probably get that over this because I wanna put it with my MU's. If it's around 6.7" then it would be tall even for Ultron among an MU collection. Hopefully the Revolmini will be somewhere around 5"+.
