Chuck's Reviews Transformers Legends Ultra Magnus
As someone who doesn't follow the comics, the idea of Ultra Magnus being a "Title" rather than a person seemed a little odd. This led me to being drawn to Takara's version of the character, since they were able to create a story that drew upon their rich Transformers history. The color pallet draws more from the G1 toy and works quite nicely. Alpha Trion has a unique charm that just works for me. While there's nothing here to recommend this version of the figure, if you already own the Hasbro release; I strongly recommend giving Legends Ultra Magnus a look, if you're on the fence about which version to own.
