Black Series First Order Stormtrooper Review
 

Good, detailed review. I agree that MAFEX and Figuarts are superior in many respects, and recent BS figures have had some shortcomings, but I can't help wondering if some of the trouble with BS might stem from the need to meet urgent deadlines during the lead-up to the new movie, and hope that future BS releases will see renewed focus on quality.

For those like me who are not completists, it's a lot of fun examining each release from each brand and cherry-picking favorite versions of favorite characters.

That could very well be the case. The Figuarts are going to be released quite a bit later than the BS that's for sure. I've just been so disappointed with TFA Black Series figures that I doubt I would hazard to buy anymore, especially with Figuarts churning out quite the selection of Star Wars figures these days.
