Anyone see any of this stuff in the wild? I was thinking of checking on my lunch break today.

Trivial Psychic 11-13-2015 08:58 AM

*laughing out loud...

Yeah...good luck finding that Black Series Trooper.

estylez23 11-13-2015 09:26 AM

I guess I have a lunch date with Walmart today.

So there's not specific time they'll bring the stuff out? Just walk in and test your luck?

Sounds like it, yeah. Supposedly putting this stuff and more online as well. Haven't had time to look yet.

Ravenxl7 11-13-2015 10:26 AM

A Walmart around me has had an endcap full of the Funko set for a while now. Have to admit, I didn't think it was anything special.

Edit: Am I missing something, or is there no picture of the Micro Machines pack?

Yeah, I didn't find a pick of the micro machines.

Spoon 11-13-2015 11:06 AM

I saw everything but the troopers. Had them look in the back. Said they've yet to get them. They are probably already gone.

I was able to get the two new Amiibo figures before someone came and bought every single new one.

estylez23 11-13-2015 12:19 PM

Checked toy section- nothing. Went to electronics where there was a sign saying event at noon- clock said 12:10 and not a thing. Asked around and Manager said they didn't get anything and one guy just cracked open a PS4 to start setting up the game demo. Waste of time.

Skoob 11-13-2015 02:27 PM

Hasbro ought to know better than to make this a Wal-Mart exclusive. Counting on Wal-Mart to have something available on time and in the quantities needed for a big promotion is a mug's game. Their inventory management woes have been building for many months, with empty shelves and "Out of Stock" messages all over the website. I hoped the situation might improve with conclusion of the west coast port strike, but it just seems to be getting worse.

Maybe it's because Walmart was the only store that had any idea what it was doing on Force Friday?

*Chuckles....

Ummm...no.

Spoon 11-13-2015 07:23 PM

Meijer was the best store around here for Force Friday, without a doubt. They even had Black Series 6inch Wave 2.

I've yet to see the figure hit ebay. Anyone else?

Zorn88 11-13-2015 07:42 PM

Went to my Walmart and there was absolutely nothing there regarding this special weekend event.

Frank Richards 11-13-2015 09:41 PM

I hit up about 3 Wal-Marts today, hunting for Phasma, and didn't see anything pertaining to this Battlefront release event. But then again, I only checked out the electronics section at one location.

The only notable Battlefront tie-in that I saw was Poe's blue X-Wing.
However, from what I've read at other sites, it's been popping up at various places for the past couple of weeks, so it's odd that Wal-Mart would lump it in with this event.

Phantomcrow 11-14-2015 12:43 PM

So I got a text from a friend who works at WM and he said he saw 3 of the BF black figure when he clocked in. I got there about 45 min later and they were all gone. The other wal mart in town still has had no sign of them. So it looks like I missed them at both options in my town. From what I can gather it seems like stores that got them got 1 case of 6 and that is it. Way to have an event Wal Mart. If you are having an event you should have like 30 of each thing that is part of the event, not one case of each item.

same here on the way home last night.

Dreadnox 11-14-2015 06:16 PM

I checked two Walmarts today both had signage up at front but not a single item mentioned, no toys, no movies, and no game demo. I made the manager take the sign down at one after having a debate with him over it. Finally he admitted it was messed up that they put put it up when no one in the whole store knew it was going on. Did say they had some stuff in back but were not putting out until the 17th. Disappointing to say the least.

deathofthelines 11-14-2015 07:29 PM

Went to Wally world tonight. Reminded me why I dislike most people and being outside. This event if it can be called that sadly was put out at a time when Walmart is planning for black Friday shopping. No other event is gonna get proper treatment at Walmart till at least January 3.

bmorr 11-15-2015 05:52 AM

I went to walmart yesterday and saw no toys. just a carboard AT-ST.

My store had a big cardboard Millenium Falcon hanging over the electronic section but nothing else.

bmorr 11-15-2015 09:17 AM

im going to another walmart today so im going to actually ask the electronics dept. about it.

edit: talked to them. they never even recieved anything.

kylactus 11-15-2015 09:26 AM

we had a cardboard AT-ST as well, I asked a couple employees they had no clue what I was talking about. Plus the whole store looked like they were in the middle of a massive restock, there were boxes and packing material everywhere, but no new SW stuff except the boxed Luke, Chewy, and Vader 3.75 figs, I think they're black series.
