I had a similar idea myself. Though I will likely only purchase one, it would be a cool idea to buy a dozen and make a really cool egg infested breeding ground in my room! Though I've always wondered if the eggs in the films actually illuminated a natural glow or if it was a result of another source of light shining onto it like a flashlight or something?

Makes sense since the one that laid the eggs came from the Engineer, which was human in appearance.

It will probably be more expensive than I would be willing to pay for something like this, but definitely a cool item.

I might guess somewhere possibly around $200, above $100 for sure I think. I don't remember how much their Gears of War prop replica guns were but that might be a solid reference for a price estimate since those were kinda big n' chunky.

Cool, even though it's kinda dodgy looking; and it'll probably cost way too much for what you're getting. Won't be surprised if this is upwards of $400.
