Jessica Jones
 

Just curious if anyone else is watching Jessica Jones on Netflix. I am up to episode 5 and it has been pretty good so far. I have never been a big fan of Krysten Ritter but she is doing a fantastic job. I read an interview with her the other day where she talked about how much she loves the role. It clearly shows. I am definitely interested to see more of Mike Colter as Luke Cage as well.

It is really too bad that the concept for a part of the show changed during production. Jessica's best friend was originally supposed to be Carol Danvers and the only thing I keep thinking when looking at Rachael Taylor is "DAMN she would have made a great Carol Danvers". Instead they changed it up and made her a different character. It's kind of an easter egg for fans and I am curious to see if they progress her character further at some point.

I'm also on episode 5. But unfortunately the more I'm watching the less interesting it is. Not really a fan of the acting or the action. Seems pretty lame. I also hate entire story lines with a lame bad guy like Killgrave. He should be limited to a few episodes.

I liked Kinpin. In Daredevil cause Vincet D'Onorfio is amazing. Best part of that show. Nobody is really is standing out in this show to me.

I've watched the first two episodes. I didn't care for the begining of the first episode but I began to enjoy it after she learns Killgrave survived. Katee Sackhoff has always been my top choice for Carol Danvers but I could see Rachel Taylor in the part. But not that beef cake Rhonda Rousey. Never her! Unfortunatley I'm out of town for Thanksgiving so it will probably be next week before I can watch more Jessica Jones.

Also, has anyone read the Alias comic? I like some of Bendis' work like Ultimate Spiderman but I read his first Daredevil omnibus and didn't really care for it. Comixology is having a Jessica Jones sale for next few days so any recommendations would be helpful.

I like this Jessica Jones more than Daredevil. I felt they were taking more risks than Daredevil. Doesnt help that I dont care for Dinofrio. admittedly he's good in this...and Men in Black so he has two more good movies than I do. If it comes down to him or David Tennant though...

Almost done watching this, not bad, but IMO DD is better.
