Cyber Monday deals ???
So im sure like everyone else on these boards, we all want to get some killer deals this upcoming cyber monday....
Anyone know of any GOOD deals going around now for toys ? i'll be a little more specific. marvel legends, selects, Neca figures, DC figures etc. I'm hoping i can find some good stuff this upcoming Monday. everyone please share your inside info !!! :) |
You've already looked at the promotions on the ToyArk home page, with direct links to ToyArk sponsors, presumably...
It's a long time since I saw a price that I would consider to be a bargain for a reasonably current and popular collectible toy that I want to add to my collection. Most of the items that I want are out of stock most of the time. I suspect that business has been good for many of the highest-profile online retailers. If they don't have to skimp on margin, they won't. Why should they? That said, if you can be patient, one easy way to save money is to sit back and wait for hot new products to lose some of their novelty, and prices eventually come down accordingly. I wish I had waited longer for some of the things that I've ordered recently. Consider it a test of self-discipline. Have a clear idea of what you want, re-evaluate it over time, and wait for better prices to come to you. I find sometimes that the item I was gung-ho for initially is not that good in retrospect. As reviews roll in, I become more selective, spot better alternatives, pick things up second-hand, and avoid disappointments. Big savings come through procrastination. JMO. |
Last time I remember getting a good Cyber Monday deal was when the first Mattel Adam West Batman figures hit. The whole series including the 2-pack was 50% off I believe. What a steal.
Hoping for the Batcave pack to be on sale this time. |
I agree that waiting will get you the most deals. Getting something when it is "hot" may be fun, but it is a bad idea. For instance, buying star wars stuff this year is probably a bad idea with the new movie.

Yeah, but sometimes waiting only makes it worse. Case in point would be the Walmart Avengers figures.

My local Target has a today only buy 2 get 1 on all action figures sale. Not sure if it's all Targets but it is a way to snag 3 Legends figures for about $13.33 each.
