Marvel Select Carnage 2015, what happened?
 

Hey there!

I want to ask, if someone knows what happened to the
Marvel Select Carnage that was released in Middle 2015.

I have pre ordered (and paid) for the the Figure A Year ago,
Januar 2015 and still did not receive it.

My Merchant / Seller always says "the Figure will be in Stock soon"
but i have my doubts.

I have read everywhere that the Figure has become really rare.
And is pretty expensive.

So what happened here???? Did Marvel stop the Production or something?

Will it be re-released like the Venom Figure?

I know it came out because I saw a couple at my lcs. Who did you pre-order with?

Yeaaahhh, you might wanna try to get a refund, that seems particularly shady there. Carnage DID actually come out, and his prices immediately skyrocketed (my friend recently sold his for 90 bucks!)

He's a hot figure. Pretty hard to find. I'd go for a refund.

In Fact, no shop in Germany or in Europe did get the Figures.
They had it all for offer (Pre Order was available at multiple Online Stores)

But all of them have been told "they will arrive soon"

Every single Shop in Germany is still waiting for the Figures,
and they still say "we will get them in Stock soon"
Every Customer that pre Ordered the Figure here in Germany, is still
waiting for the Figure.

In Fact no Customer in Germany ever got the Figure.

So i mean, what is going on here??? What happened to Marvel / the Company.

As far as i know, it WAS NOT an Exklusive.

But what makes the Situation more complicated is:
Even if i buy Carnage now for a High Price (like 100$) from another Country,
then the Figure will be re-release like the Marvel Select Venom, i would be very angry, because i burned so much
Money for nothing.

Ah, I didn't realize you were overseas. It could still happen I suppose. I don't really have a solid answer for you.

they came out here, i preordered mine prior to it being released and got it later on in 2015. im also in the U.S. though

I would recommend going to Diamond select's home page which i believe is called the Art Asylum, and you can ask them questions. im sure they'll be able to give you a straight up answer. as for your preorder over around by you, i would suggest getting a refund, no sense in waiting this long and not getting anything.

You would think that as to how popular it was, same as Venom that they would release another batch so people who didn't get it finally get one.

I know that my comic shop ordered a case and only received 2 figures one of which I was lucky enough to get. The other place I shop ordered multiple cases and received less than one case. I don't know why orders were shorted but I would assume at least other smaller shops and retailers got shorted too. Hopefully they will do an additional run, it is a great figure.

Hopefully you get your refund! That's why I hate paying for pre orders sometimes...

I got an Answer from Marvel Select now.

here it is:

"Good Afternoon,
I am sorry to hear about this, we only make a limited number of each Marvel Select, and few retailers receive the full number that they ordered. There was no intention to deprive Germany specifically. We will make more Carnage figures this year, but you should check with your retailer to see if your pre-order is still valid, and make sure the retailer orders more when they are offered again next month. I hope this helps again I am sorry. Have a great weekend!"

It would have been an Disaster if i had bought the Carnage Figure for around 100$
(well...200$, because i have ordered Carnage twice, keep one sealed as collector)
and they suddenly Marvel produces even more this year.
