I've often wondered myself why thermal vision Predator seems to be popular... I mean, I could understand if he had the mask on and was looking in a mirror, haha :D maybe he's looking at another Predator and this is how he sees them? At any rate, it still looks amazing!

It does seem to be a popular but never seen on screen depiction. Like NECA's thermal vision Dutch made sense since we saw him like that in the film and on the posters. Speaking of mirrors and infrared it turns out you actually can see IR reflected in them. I'd figured that it wouldn't reflect because IR is so often referred to as thermal vision or heat vision that this implied viewing the actual radiation of heat but apparently IR is actually just viewing differing wavelengths and amplitudes of light associated with producing heat and since mirrors reflect light and IR is light (not heat like I had assumed) it is visible in a mirror. This does make me wonder about how predators identify each other though if they're strangers. Like what if there was robbery on planet-predator? The predator-cops would be all "okay could you describe the person who robbed you?" and then the victim would probably be like "uhhm yeah so he was green with some yellow, red, and blue patterns." Now having constant thermal vision doesn't seem so great does it?

They probably don't wear there armor and gear at home, they are a technically advanced race. I think 90%of the time they wear suits and ties, have day jobs. (Predator, Doctor, lawyer, engineer, accountant, factory worker) exploding arm cuffs, and telescoping staffs don't make themselves. The movies just happen to take place on pred hunting trips.
