just curious, but why would anyone buy that ? no poseability (obviously), and does not have the same wow effect as a proper marble statue....

My guess is mostly for dedicated high roller collectors, comic shop and in-store displays.

Sorry but I think it's creepy. I thought the same thing about the life size AC Batman.

Having something like this displayed in a comic shop makes perfect sense but having it sit in the corner of some dude's room is kinda creepy. Great conversational piece but still creepy nonetheless.

This with the life-sized Batman would be particularly funny, to me at least, because he has that scowl face going on. Imagine the scene in E.T. when he's hiding among the dolls but instead it's a super serious Batman.

When they say this is foam, what exactly do they mean? What kind of foam? Certainly not anything soft/spongy, or it would fall over from it's own weight.
