An Ant-Man figure without a miniature version is just sad. Marvel Universe was a good toyline, but these are less for twice the price. No thanks.

You're right, the Marvel Infinite one at least had a mini version even though the card was crappy, guess I'll keep that one over this new one. Interesting that they're already throwing the ones from the Infinite lines into the Legends packing too. 100 bucks? That's really crazy, I'll be very patient now and hope to get these from HTS or on sale at retail...

Hmm... I agree with the above comments about how this line has become poor value for money. Seems like in each wave we're lucky to get a couple of accessories.

However, I'm liking what I see here. The Vision is not the classic colours, which is a shame, but he still looks ok. Daredevil is his vintage colours (which I love). Rage and Gamora I'm ambivalent towards, so they seem ok. Living Laser is, well, another villain - which is never bad.

I'm still holding out hope for a She-Hulk repainted as Titania... do it Hasbro... do it...

Rip marvel universe line

Villano 03-01-2016 04:34 PM

That Ant-Man is horrendous. This is the first time I've seen it and I was stunned. It looks like a cheap knock off you would find at a dollar store (probably under a name like "Insect Hero").

PlayTime 03-01-2016 04:43 PM

I would have thought they would use similar packaging like the 6" line like they did with the SWBS.

graphyt 03-01-2016 05:47 PM

That's my favorite design for Gamora, but I'm just gotten so ambivalent towards the whole universe line. I feel a little burnt even though theyre what got me started with World war hulk and iron fist. It's too bad the line has been treated so bad.

I don't have a problem with any of these figs but wtf $100? Are they literally insane?

Kernel 03-01-2016 08:30 PM

I wish they would use that first appearance daredevil buck on all of the new figures in that size.

I'm thinking more along the lines of "aunt man".

jestermon 03-02-2016 09:32 AM

The armored spiderman looks too lightly armored to be the armored version.

The face and symbol look odd too, he needs a shield accessory similar to the old toy.

Are these more of the new less articulated molds?

LordMudd 03-02-2016 09:54 AM

Don't remember seeing a release date?
