Yeah Randy was playing around with the idea of a Predator accessory pack on Twitter, saying that he would love to do a Predator equivalent of the upcoming Alien accessory-packs.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a trophy-focused pack with this skinned body and maybe some of the old skulls + new trophies and maybe a weapons/armory-pack (more masks?). Would be cool if we get some of the more abstract and unique Predator weapons. I would love to see the huge spear rifle from the AvP2 game, that thing was sick.

I'd like masks too as they'd fit the backstory of Viper especially... Been a hint that we'll see a net with the AvP two-pack, so other random, probably never happen things that come to mind are

A stand-alone wrist bomb
A medikit
A decapitated King Willy head ;)(or any head)
The little two-pronged spears from P2
Alien 'armour' or weaponry
Trophy bandoliers
Metallic falcon from Predators
Camo noose (AvP)
A mini LED, three-dot laser pen!
Guns, lots of guns...

I think we're jumping the shark and reading a bit much into this. To me, this feels simply like NECA wanted to show off one of their clever displays that they are noted for at various conventions. They've done this for their Robocop vs Terminator line, Aliens line (although we eventually did some accessories for them, I'm more referring to the Queen's lair with the impregnated hosts that they have showed off time and time again...) and now this. While it wouldn't surprise me, I highly doubt that well be seeing anything out of this.

I WOULD like to see NECA re-release their skull collection that they put out a few years ago. Gathering all the skulls for their trophy wall is quite the expensive challenge, and the secondary market prices have been blown sky high on these for a while. While a weapons pack would be cool, I imagine that they will run into the same problem that a lot of other weapon's packs run into in that they just don't tend to sell all that well in retail due to pricing. We'll just have to see when the creature packs come out.

The other day Randy was discussing both of the Alien creature packs on Twitter and he said a similar pack is in the works for the Predator line, so I think that's why we're all so eager to hope this is a tease for what might be in said pack.
