That just about sums up the silliness of 'But it wouldn't sell!'.

Not that I'd buy one, but there are many Hitchcock fans out there that would be all over this. There is also the potential to draw in non-toy collectors. While I'm not enough of a fan to grab one myself, I'm interested enough to comment on the news.

This is actually a very good point. I could see a random Hitchcock fan who isn't really a collector still wanting to get this.

I'm sure there's plenty of potential crossover between toy aficionados and an appreciation for Hitchcock films (I serve as an example), but I have to imagine that a good portion of the intended target audience are those 'hardcore' Alfred fans that must have anything related to the iconic filmmaker... kinda like if they made a 'Dolemite' fig, no?;)
