Magic: The Gathering Eternal Masters Crack-A-Case Launch Day Event

Magic: The Gathering Eternal Masters Crack-A-Case Launch Day Event

What's up fellow Magic: The Gathering collectors and players. I hope you all enjoy the Crack-a-Case event we are hosting. We have a ton of packs to open, and we will do our best to give you an idea of what to expect out of a typical box of Eternal Masters. Providing EV would be nice, but prices are all over the place, and the Foils prices are almost indeterminable until the dust settles.

I recommend checking in often with the front page post for the pretty Foil pics and updated images of pulls. Since these are high-res photos, it will take a chunk of time to crack all these boxes, and packs while providing quality shots of cards and information your not going to find anywhere on the web.

The first round is up.... Enjoy.

Online or LGS stores only. You won't see this set at Toys R Us or Walmart.

I haven't played Magic since high school. Are any of the older cards worth anything? I know I have a ton left over.

Yes. Vintage reserve list cards are the most expensive cards around.

Are there any websites I can view the value of what I have? I have a lot of cards, I'm sure most aren't worth anything but I may have a handful of good ones.

I've used cardshark and mtgprice.com in the past to find out what a card can go for. Ultimately it's worth whatever somebody is willing to pay, so just because it comes up listed as say somewhere around $30 doesn't always mean that there's a fresh and hopping market to buy it.

Very easy way is here: MTGGoldfish - Magic the Gathering Prices, Decks and Strategy

Just type the card name in search bar and it will give you drop down menu for set name as well.

Thanks guys! Is there a recommended place to sell cards, other than ebay? I found I have some est for a decent amount each.

Troll and Toad or Cool Stuff Inc. are great places to do so. They both have intuitive buylist systems that allow you to check prices, search specific cards or sets, add to your buylist, then submit. After submitting your list, in the case of Troll and Toad, you would just ship your cards to them and wait for your cash. Cool Stuff Inc works similarly, but they have an approval step where they'll email you when you're good to ship.

Also, 2000 posts!
